I normally have a bad feeling when reading so many text without lines of code. Besides why comparing a language VS a library. To me they are two different things. There's not much competition. Also you can use one pretending the other doesn't exit at all. It's only your own decision. Don't think Microsoft has blocked your way. Don't hate big company especially when it provides you jobs.
